Education & Training

Registered Psychotherapist and member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).

Member of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP).

  • Master of Science Degree in Counselling Psychology with a specialization in Clinical Mental Health Counselling from Prescott College in Arizona.
  • Studied the integration of Western and Buddhist psychological theories in regards to the treatment of eating disorder and co-occurring issues.
  • Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Toronto with a focus on psychology, philosophy, and Buddhism in relation to mental health.
  • Extensive training in CBT, DBT and mindfulness.
  • Receives regular clinical supervision.

    • Adapts and integrates several therapeutic techniques including CBT, DBT, ACT, mindfulness, and Buddhist psychology.
    • The significance of socio-cultural context, gender, sexual orientation and spirituality of each client is always taken into consideration.
    • Collaboration with other medical professionals is sometimes required when working with clients with eating disorders and co-occurring issues.
